Can we use our own application? We require the NVAR application as well as our application instruction page, both of which can be downloaded and printed out under our "apply to rent" section.

What funds are required and do they need to be certified? We require a processing fee of $45.00 per applicant (except for applicants with joint credit reports, which is just $45.00), and an earnest money deposit equal to one months rent. Funds do not need to be certified unless the move in date is within 2 weeks. Cash will NOT be accepted; please obtain a money order if necessary. All checks should be made payable to Promax Management, Inc.

How do I get you the application? You may fax the application with a copy of the checks to (703) 658-2248, then mail the originals to Promax Mgmt to 7007 Kilworth Ln, Springfield, VA 22151.

How long does processing take? Please allow 3-5 business days.  We will contact you if we require any additional paperwork or if we have any questions. We do not provide updates, to agents or applicants; we will notify you once a decission has been made.

Your listings says no pets but will your owner consider...? After our owners have been informed about the pros and cons of accepting pets at a given property, they indicate their preference on an owner information sheet we keep on file. Our owners have put considerable thought into this decision, which is final.  As we do, we ask you to please respect their preferences, and know we will decline to pass on requests for expections.

Will your owner accept the section 8 choice voucher? We note in our listings whether or not a given owner has elected to participate in the section 8 choice voucher program. You will find this information on the listing under "Rent Specials" section; along with details such as "Prop Mgt Rental" and "furnished' or "unfurnished", this section will indicate "Subsdz Housing", if they accept the vouchers (Please note: absence of the phrase "Subsdz Housing" means the owner does not participate in the program).  This decision, like the decision of whether or not to accept pets, is also final.
